AfterWindow Company in Reedley, CA
Meridian Windows & Doors is the window company Reedley homeowners call when they want the job priced on paper before work starts and covered in writing for a full year afterward. We replace windows, install new construction windows, and set patio doors across Reedley, from older homes near the Kings River bottom to newer subdivisions on the east side. Our crews work from the Fresno Central Valley office, but the trucks, the installers, and the written estimates are all local to Reedley. Call (817) 686-2228 and you’ll reach a live person, not a voicemail tree.
Why Reedley Homes Are Different
Reedley sits in the San Joaquin Valley, where summer temperatures routinely climb past 100°F and hold there for weeks. That’s the single biggest factor in how we spec glass. A west-facing window in Reedley takes direct afternoon sun for six or seven months a year, and the right low-E coating (a thin layer that reflects heat while letting light through) changes what that room feels like in July. Homes near the Kings River deal with higher humidity and older frames that have absorbed decades of damp air, which is why we check rough openings carefully before ordering a single unit. Much of Reedley’s housing stock was built between the 1950s and 1990s, so measurements vary. An opening that looks square often isn’t, and a window sized off a quick tape pull will leak air or bind. We measure every opening twice and write the exact spec into the quote. Reedley also has a real mix of architectural styles: ranch homes in the older grid, stucco track homes from the 1980s and 90s, plus newer builds in the eastern expansions. Each takes different flashing and trim work. That variety is why we don’t do one-size-fits-all installs here.
Our Main Reedley Services
Most Reedley homeowners reach us for one of three reasons: old aluminum windows that won’t seal anymore, new construction or addition work that needs windows set from scratch, and patio doors that stick, leak, or fog. Each service has its own Reedley page with pricing and specifics.
Window Replacement in Reedley
Replacing existing windows is the most common job we do in Reedley. The typical project starts with failed seals, hard-to-open sashes, or heat gain that the air conditioner can’t keep up with. In Reedley’s climate, dual-pane units with low-E glass pay back fast in the summer. We pull the old window, address any dry rot or bad flashing in the opening, set the new unit level and square, and finish the exterior so it matches the home. Every replacement is covered by our written 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it fails within the year, we return at no charge. Get the full scope at Window Replacement in Reedley.
Window Installation in Reedley
New construction window installation in Reedley covers additions, remodels, ADUs, and new builds. This is different from replacement work because the window goes into a bare rough opening before the exterior finish is up. Flashing has to be done in a specific order, and that order matters more in Reedley’s wet winters than people expect. We install from the eight manufacturer lines we carry, including PGT and ViewLux, and we’ll help you spec the right product for orientation and exposure. Every install gets a written price before the job starts and the same 365-day guarantee in writing. Details are on Window Installation in Reedley.
Patio Door Installation in Reedley
Patio doors in Reedley take abuse. Heat, settling, and the fine dust that blows through the Valley all work against door tracks and rollers. We install sliding and hinged patio doors, including products from CGI and CWS, and we set them so they open and lock properly on day one. A patio door that’s out of square won’t just stick; it’ll leak air and let the heat in all summer. We level the threshold, secure the frame, and check the weatherstripping before we call it done. Brands We Service in Reedley
We’re authorized to install and replace products from PGT, CGI, CWS, and ViewLux, among the eight manufacturer lines we carry. That matters because the right glass and frame for a Reedley summer isn’t the same as what works on the coast. We order to spec, not to whatever happens to be in a warehouse. See our brands for the full portfolio.

FAQs About Window Company in Reedley
Standard window replacements in Reedley are typically scheduled within one to two weeks. New construction and custom orders take longer because the units are built to spec. Call (817) 686-2228 and we’ll give you a real timeline for your specific job.
Most like-for-like window replacements don’t require a permit, but changing the size of an opening or adding a new window usually does. We handle the permit paperwork when it’s required, and we pull it before the work starts. You’ll never be asked to work around it.
We cover all of Reedley, no neighborhood exclusions. The crews working your job report through the Fresno Central Valley office, but the scheduling and estimate are handled as if we’re down the street. Call (817) 686-2228 to schedule a free estimate.
