Available Franchise Territories
Meridian Windows & Doors is opening protected territories across the United States for operators who want a clean business model: real manufacturer lines, written pricing, and a guarantee that holds up. We don’t sell area development deals that overlap. We don’t stack locations on top of each other. When you claim a territory, it’s yours. You’re measured against one standard, The Garrison Standard, and your crew gets the same brand promise every Meridian customer hears: more light, less noise, a clean install.
The first operator in a market sets the tone. Homeowners remember the name that showed up on time, priced the job in writing, and came back when something wasn’t right. That’s the first-mover advantage here. It’s not about being the only window company in town. It’s about being the one people call second, after they’ve had a bad experience with someone else.
Open Markets
These markets currently have open territory. Each one is listed because the underlying demand for window replacement, window installation, and patio door installation is strong, and because the housing stock supports the work we do.
- Texas – Heat, hail, and single-pane windows that should have been replaced a decade ago. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and the suburban rings around them are steady markets for impact-rated product.
- Florida – Code requirements for wind-borne debris regions mean homeowners need product that’s actually approved, not whatever’s on the shelf. PGT and CGI carry real weight here.
- California – Older tract homes from the 60s and 70s need full-frame replacements. Title 24 energy compliance is a real conversation homeowners are already having.
- Georgia – Atlanta’s suburban counties have aging aluminum frames and a steady replacement cycle. Northern Georgia sees enough weather to make insulation a selling point.
- North Carolina – Charlotte, Raleigh, and the Triad are growing, and the housing stock runs from 1980s builder-grade to higher-end custom work where ES Windows and ECO Window Systems fit.
- Arizona – Monsoon season exposes bad flashing and poor seals fast. Homeowners in Phoenix and Tucson know what a failed patio door does to a utility bill.
- Tennessee – Nashville and Knoxville have older brick homes with original wood windows. Retrofit work is steady and repeatable.
- Ohio – Cold winters, hot summers, and a lot of double-hungs that are past their service life. The replacement conversation here is about comfort first.
- Pennsylvania – Philadelphia’s row homes and the suburban counties around it have tight access jobs where a clean install matters. Homeowners notice when the crew leaves the site squared away.
- Colorado – Altitude and UV exposure chew through seals and hardware. Denver and the Front Range have strong demand for higher-end product.
- Washington – Rain, damp, and marine air. Rot around window openings is common. Homeowners on the west side of the state are willing to pay for work done right the first time.
- Virginia – Northern Virginia and Richmond have a mix of new construction and 1970s colonials. Both need patio door work, and the replacement conversation is active.
How Territories Work
Each Meridian territory is a defined geographic area. It’s written into your agreement, and no other Meridian operator gets assigned inside those lines. You’re not competing against another Meridian location for the same homeowner’s call.
Territories are built around real service areas, not zip-code games. We look at drive times, population density, and the housing stock that actually supports window and door work. If you’re putting crews on the road, they need to be able to reach a job without burning half the day on the highway. In a market like Dallas or Phoenix, that means tighter boundaries. In a market like Knoxville or Raleigh, the territory can stretch wider because the drive is simpler.
Exclusivity is simple: the territory is protected for as long as you operate to The Garrison Standard. We don’t reserve territories on a handshake. You apply, we talk through the market, and if the fit is right, the territory is held for you while you get your licensing, insurance, and crew plan in order. We’d rather you start six weeks later and start right than rush a launch that makes the brand look sloppy.
A meridian is a fixed line you measure everything against. That’s the name, and it’s how territories work here too. The boundary is the boundary. The standard is the standard.
